Rzeszow, Poland – HostBill has just announced the release of the new version of its billing and automation software for web hosting industry, with a number of new modules and features included.

In 2018 edition, HostBill extended its billing functionalities by adding new billing feature: Post Paid Billing, that allows the customer to pay for the service after they have used it. Post-paid customers receive a monthly bill that reflects all the charges incurred for the previous month. Billing type and billing cycle can be set in product/service configuration and in account settings. The Post Paid billing method can be especially useful for telco industry.


HostBill 2018 features new fraud protection module: FraudLabsPro. It’s the fourth fraud protection module introduced to HostBill. The module provides the choice of over 40 elements to inspect when analyzing the transaction parameters against the fraud, such as IP address, proxy, email address, billing and shipping address, credit card, device and more. The module also uses the blacklists data and machine learning technology to improve the efficiency in detecting fraud attempts. The information provided by FraudLabsPro can be used to manually accept, decline or further review orders or set automatic block on fraudulent orders.

HostBill’s payment gateways integration portfolio was expanded and now also includes two new payment gateway integrations: Conify and CoinGate. Both payment gateways allow to accept bitcoin and other digital currencies payments. HostBill has also added support for Stripe Source for GiroPay, Alipay and P24 and support for new Gocardless authentication method.

In the new version, HostBill has also introduced the integration with Slack, that will allow to show notifications from HostBill admin area directly in the chosen Slack channel, to help admin stay well-informed about what is going on in the system. The admin can choose on which events to get alerts (new order, new ticket, new transaction etc) to be able to react quickly on each new event.

HostBill is available in 4 different editions: Enterprise, Cloud, Data Center and All-Inclusive, that differ from each other by types and number of integrations included. Each edition is white-label, host on your server solution. All editions have now been updated to include even more integrations.

The basic, Enterprise edition provides access to all core HostBill features: automated billing, hosting automation, domain management and automation, client management, help desk system, affiliate system, integration with over 85 payment gateways and over 60 domain registrars. HostBill Enterprise includes integrations with popular hosting control panels and a number of handy apps: Slack Notifications, Fraud Protection, Affiliate System, Client Geolocation, Time & Performance Tracker and more. The basic license comes with 10 support tickets included.

Cloud Edition contains all HostBill features that were developed to cover all aspects of running a successful online business and are necessary for Cloud Hosting providers. HostBill Data Center Edition was designed with Data Center industry in mind. This is T5’s first data center outside the United States and will look to take advantage of the coming political changes in the European Union (Brexit and associated EU data sovereignty laws), and telecom and power infrastructure advantages in Cork to serve a growing need for companies seeking new data centers serving European and U.S. customers.

The new T5@Ireland campus is a 32.5-acre, 46 MW dedicated data center campus with full planning permission for two enterprise facilities of 7 MW each, and a cloud targeted facility of 32 MW. The site is carrier rich and will have direct access to Ireland’s five largest domestic fiber carriers, as well as subsea cable connectivity to the United States, United Kingdom and Europe via GTT Express (lowest latency between EU and US), GTT North & South, (secondary routes between US, UK and Europe), Aquacomm’s AEC-1 Cable (Ireland to NYC). Building I will be a 7 MW, 84,000 square foot facility and is due for completion in Q1, 2019, which will coincide with the landing of the Ireland France Subsea Cable (IFC-1), the first cable to directly link Ireland to mainland Europe. Building II will be a 97,000-square-foot, 7 MW data center, and Building III will be a 323,000-square-foot, 32 MW data center. As with all T5 facilities, each data center can be customized to accommodate any enterprise-grade or cloud computing deployment.


In addition to new EU data sovereignty laws which could drive data center traffic from the UK following Brexit, construction of T5@Ireland comes at an opportune time relative to power availability and telecom connectivity within Ireland. Dublin has historically been the preferred data hub of Ireland, but the region is experiencing a restriction on data center growth due to lack of adequate power. T5@Ireland is fed by 60 MW of power from an adjacent dual fed substation, and can deliver this power within expedited delivery deployments of new facilities. These and other market factors are driving more data center operations to strategic locations such as Cork.
