IBM announced that its managed container service model based on Kubernetes, IBM Cloud Container Service, will now be able to run on bare metal servers. The IBM Cloud Container Service helps organizations to run data and processor workloads with high level of speed and capacity. Containers help developers to easily move data across systems, and enable multiple people to operate on different parts of the app altogether. However, it needs consistent management to run containers on bare metal. The new functionality from IBM will help developers to implement the advantages of containers to the data, apps and workloads that need high computing performance, like machine learning workloads and sensitive datasets. “On IBM Cloud, Kubernetes can now fit into an organization’s cloud strategy no matter what that looks like; whether it’s building a completely cloud-native machine learning app, accessing servers directly to handle large data workloads or migrating data-heavy apps to the cloud,”…
