Dell Technologies recently announced that tech major GE has signed a multi-year agreement to use Dell Inc. infrastructure and end-user computing solutions to support its ongoing digital transformation efforts. This agreement is apparently one of the largest non-government contracts in the history of Dell Technologies, Dell or EMC. Under the multi-year deal, Dell Inc. has now become the primary IT infrastructure supplier for GE. “GE’s collaboration with Dell Technologies has helped us drive the transformation of GE into a digital industrial company. The investment we are making today will continue to push us forward and improve the end-user experience for our employees around the globe,” said Chris Drumgoole, vice president and chief technology officer, digital technology at GE.
